KFC Sued over Free Chicken Giveaway
In May of 2009 KFC offered free meals of their new grilled chicken. KFC allotted 100 free meals per day per store for the promotion. To get the free meal, you needed to go online, find the coupon, print the coupon and take it to a KFC for redemption. Nevada Business License Report
Effective October 1, 2009, Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller’s office will be responsible for issuing the State Business License. The business license is required of all entities who are conducting business in this state.

NASS Opposed Senate Bill S.569
The National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) opposes the U.S. Senate’s bill S. 569, the Incorporation Transparency and Law Enforcement Assistance Act. The bill would require states to collect and maintain beneficial ownership information from corporations and limited liability companies formed under state law, and to provide this information to law enforcement upon receipt of a subpoena. the legislation transforms what is largely the ministerial role of state agencies to one of oversight through the collection and processing of company ownership information.
